Hello all,

I am using liferay 5.2.3. I wanted to manage content on my website by using lifeary cms. The admin when changes content on liferay website, that should be reflected in our application, in our web pages.

First I tried web services, it was fine but very long and complicated way to manage content.

Liferay provides direct URL to share its contents. When we add any web content on any page of liferay website, it gives an option - configure which is used for editing that web content. When you click this option, you will have four tabs - "set up, supported clients, permissions, sharing" or you may also have two to three of these, from all of these, the tab called "sharing" shows a script tag. This script tag contains a URL which will refer to that web content.

So if you want to manage content on your website dynamically, you just need to copy and paste that script in your web page, it will show that web content in your page. Now whenever you change that content, this will reflect in your website also.

If any question, then can ask me.

Hi MItal,

Congratulations on your success with your use of LIferay as a CMS for an external Web Site. Is this a public web site? Would you mind sharing links?

Regards,
Jeff

hi Jeff,

Actually the web site which I developed is still under development. I have just got the way. I tried so much to search for the way by which we can manage the content on our website using liferay but when the way was found, I posted it so that if any other person is searching for same, he do not have to waste his/her time.

I will try if I can share those links when the website is completed and when it is made public.
