Hi,

I have an xls sheet which contains data to be stored in to the database.

Since there are around 2000 rows to be inserted from xls to the DB tables, is there any way in java where in i can read the xls file and query insert statement .

Thanku

Cheers

A lot of people use Apache POI for reading Excel spreadsheets in Java.

(I'm not sure what you mean by reading a query insert statement so I will leave that part unanswered.)

Apache POI and JExcelAPI are the most often used libraries for reading Excel file. Check out AccessingFileFormats.
