HI all , I think after lot of research I found this forum to be the best guide for people like me . I have just started preparing . Like every new comer I have plenty of doubts regarding preparation. I have 8 years of exp in Java (no ejb, corba ,security skills ).I am decent java developer with some design skills. Never wrote a any certification.

For now I have started with these ,
JavaEETutorial
Design Patterns: Elements of Reusable Object-Oriented Software Erich Gamma, Richard Helm
Core J2EE patterns catelog from Sun
Certification guide for 310-051 BY Mark cade
J2EE-5-Architect-Exam-Study-Guide-Adel Almoshaigah

Do I need to buy any book on EJB3 or JavaEE tutorial is enough
I am having difficulty finding material on
Section 2: Common Architectures
Section 8: Security

please guide me ,above all wish me , I need support

Thanks
Gopi

Hello,

You mentioned Mark Cade book book dedicated for previous version of the exam (J2EE : 310-051).
You can buy Second edition for 310-052 : JEE Study Guide, By: Mark Cade; Humphrey Sheil (http://my.safaribooksonline.com/9780131363021/).
It has been accessible for some time in electronic version as "Rough Cuts" (still in preparation).
Several days ago, the final version has been published to print, according to Safari. The final electronic version is available as well.
Although I used "Rough Cuts", incomplete version in my preparations, I found this book pretty useful.

Regards,

Pawel Piwowar

Thanks Pawel, I have ordered print version (I prefer hard print than online) but looks like its not going to be shipped for next 4 weeks which I think is too late , may be I have to buy the expensive online version.

Anyways thanks.
