Hi,
I have an application running on an Apache/Tomcat configuration. Previous admins created an http alias for the application, where the login page can be accessed via an abreviated url, that is, instead of typing in the entire login page URL a user could just type in a condensed version that would take them to the login page.
After an upgarde the shortcut no longer works. I have looked through pre upgrade backups to find where the alias was specified but can't find it.
Has anyone ever created such an alias? Please share.

Thanks.

What did you upgraded Apache, Tomcat or application itself? Look for something similar to http://httpd.apache.org/docs/2.0/mod/mod_alias.html#redirectmatch

You also need to register your host or alias on your domain server.

Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
