Hi All,

I have first edition of SCEA study guide from Mark Cade. I want to know if it is way different from the second edition. Does it really help to have the second edition? Could someone explain please?

Thanks,
Radhika.

I think "first edition of SCEA study guide from Mark Cade" is for 310-051 (Internantionlization removed, has EJB 2 not EJB3)
and latest version is for 310-052 (Integration messaging abit of webservices SOA added, EJB3)

For the difference you can refer to exam objectives.

Many, many, many of the concepts remain the same, and many that did SCEA5 before the latest book came out referred to it. But, having said that, if you put some atiquated concepts on the new exam, you'll get dinged good, so make sure you know what's new with EJB3.

And whatever the differences make sure you read that book. It is a great guide. although a short one, and will go a long way in helping you in the exam
