Odd http proxy configuration

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
I'm trying to figure out how to configure the Java proxy settings to match the configuration of a proxy.pac. My business proxies 1) all http ant https traffic to servers in our domain 2) all other http traffic, but does not proxy traffic to other https servers. Configuring Java to proxy ALL http and NO https would work, but I'm running into trouble.

Our app is started via Ant, so I'm basing my configuration on this: http://ant.apache.org/manual/proxy.html

Then I have an Ant target to create a propertyset

This is then set in my java call:

This allows http URL connections to work, but not https. Https appears to be using the http.* proxy settings.

Anyone know of a way to only proxy http and not https?,

Thanks in advance
Bill S.
You are HERE! The other map is obviously wrong. Better confirm with this tiny ad:
