Hi,

I have logged into the tomcat admin console and created an environment entry under "resources" link.

HOwever the code that reads this entry using System.getProperty() or System.getenv() returns null.

any idea, where is the gap?

Thanks!

Unless my memory misleads me, the tomcat admin console is creating JNDI objects, so the value isn't stored in System properties, it's in Tomcat's JNDI registry and your app must use JNDI to read it.
