Hi,
Could anyone compare the industry acceptances of the SCDJWS 5.0 or IBM SOA exams (669 and 667)? I want to take one of the exams and why not take the more widely accepted one?
Please feel free to jump in and comment.

Regards,
Abhi

I think industry never give value to any thing other then your knowledge.

So in my openion do the certification which you like and learn.

Sun and IBM have has the most successful certification programs ! So be free to choose one.
As our friend Damodar Mukhopadhyay said...the main bullet is your knowledge !

I apologize, the intention was to know - are they equivalent/similar? If not, I understand we cannot compare apples to oranges.
I cannot agree more on knowledge being the power, but come on guys - big names do matter in practical world.

Abhijit

Hi!
If you wonder whether the certifications cover the same base of knowledge, then why do not have a look at the curriculum of the two specifications?
I've only had a brief glance, but from what I was able to tell, they cover different things.
The SCDJWS only briefly touches upon SOA while the IBM certifications seems to be mainly concerned with SOA.
Best wishes!
