(I have an article in the pipeline that describes the problems with using JSP for JSF in more detail, so let's leave it at that for now). To really take advantage of JSF, though, you should also develop at least one bean that handles the database access instead of putting that type of logic in a JSP page.



Can you send us a link to that article. Most people in this forum may well be interested in that article. (at least i am).
For the latter part of (quoted) answer, I agree and hope most people do that anyway.

I'll try to remember to do that when it's published, but you may want to keep an eye on OnJava.com where it will published eventually, in case I forget.
