Hi

Thank you, but i dont know how to check for registry entries...,i just tried in Google and found out the link useful -Running Tomcat as a 64-bit windowtomcat-as-a-64-bit-windows-service.html
Also i realized that his laptop is 64 bit Windows Vista,4GB RAM,320GB HD.so now i decided its better to uninstall both tomcat and jdk 6 of 32 bit.and install both s/w s with 64 bit versions as mentioned in the likn.so that no confusion.

sry

try to help me for my other post with which im struggling, here Windows Vista OS (32 bit),tomcat 6.0.20 and jdk 6,im using it on my lab PC

thank you in adv

Remove: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run\ApacheTomcatMonitor
If you run the app this points to as an administrator from the command prompt (Start Menu type cmd then CTRL-SHIFT-ENTER to get admin rights), you will notice that it is just a pop-up menu to administer Tomcat.
