I am thinking of changing my stream to electrical. will it be right. will i get any price for the degree i am studying??
I have no idea - everything I know is in that thread. You could try sending that original poster a private message to ask. He may feel more comfortable telling you privately even if he is comfortable sharing that with a stranger.

Your color blindness would matter while getting a job only if you opt for a profile that needs identifying and using a lot of colors. Otherwise, you should be fine.
I have color blindness and in spite of that, I've been working in Bangalore (India) for the past 4 years in one of the biggest companies in the Indian IT space without any problems. Before I joined this company, I went through the routine pre-employment medical checkup and it was noted that I have color blindness and that was mentioned in the report too. However, I was never even asked any questions about this (as it wouldn't have been a problem for my profile) and this has never been a problem for me while getting or changing jobs.
