I have a image, a picture of 8 persons, i want to diplay the names when the cursor is over the face on each person...

A littel like face book, but how to do, schould i calculate the cursor position, or is someone have any good ideas ?

Facebook does it dynamically using AJAX. If you aren't changing your image much, it may be easier to use an area/client image map. Otherwise, using coordinates seems easiest.
