Unable to find JDK3 software from the sun's site please send me the link for jdk3  RSS feed

Anybody who can please send me the link to jdk3 download as i am new in learning JSP servlets and in that i have j2ee 1.3 version software installed

i WANT to practise it manually and not by IDE (like netbeans)

I hope you realize 1.3 is old like as in ancient.

i knw sir but as i an referrin HEAD first start JSP SERVLETS it says that install j2sdkee1.3.1 AND jdk 1.3 on the same directory



i think java is not version independant because the moment i tried instaalin j2sdkee1.3.1 and jdk 1.6 in same direcrtory it was showing some sort of error as in home path not set

the only thing i want is the deploytool to be displayed so that i can code JSP servlets stuff

I don't know about HF, but I think the edition you are using might be published when 1.3 was the latest version.
Java is backward compatible. So what runs on 1.3 also runs on 1.3+
If I were you, I would get the latest version.

I'd echo that sentiment--do *not* use Java 1.3.
