I need a UML tool to create all sorts of UML models for software design. In my previous companies I used Visio and RR. But my current company cant afford to pay for license. Which would be the best tool(s) from this list on wiki for the free uml tools? I mean i would like to know the most reliable and used uml tool(s) in the free category.

ArgoUML is popular and provides the most common UML diagrams.

I used StarUML for some school projects. It has a lot of features and was very useful.
