I've coded the filter like Head First Servlets and JSP does, but it's doesn't works, doesn't shows exception.

The http response has the header Content-Encoding:zip, but has no response.



How could I find out what's wrong ?



I can post the codes if it helps.

Yes please. Also is the application working fine if you disable the filter?? Maybe there is problem somewhere else in your configuration or servlet. If the application is working without the filter, then the problem is surely in the filter...

HI.

I found the error. before the call to finish of GZIPOutputStream, it must be called flush() of printWriter object that came from responseWrapper.


the book Head First Servlets and JSP, doesn't has any mention about it, but it's allright now.
