how to identify child window and close it using javascript

Hi

I have a small web application and in that from main window I will open some child window and in case if the user closes the parent window. I like to close all child window. Please assist me how to do that...

I need this functionality... I may open 4 to 6 child windows and I like to close all when the parent window closed

Why wouldn't you just keep a reference to the child windows from the opening window?

I got some working code. But still some problem.



After opening 3 or 4 windows if the user refreshes the parent window all the values are lost and chils window are not closing..

Once the page refreshes you are toast. Your objects are destroyed and you have no more references.
