How do you implement all the examples in Spring in Action?

I do have a copy of Spring 2 In Action, Do you suggest a good method to build a sample application from the book.
I find it easy to learn by practise..

I would suggest you to make every samples step by step, as given in the book.

I agree. That's what I'm doing as I read this book. it helps because it gets me to try different combination that I may not need on my actual project.

I downloaded the SpringSource Tool Suite, but I find myself using the Eclipse XML editor more because I want to type and understand everything.
