image loading

I want to load 2 images in an applet. How should i do it

Use following code:

 BufferedImage img = null;
try {
    img = ImageIO.read(new File("strawberry.jpg"));
} catch (IOException e) {
}

ImageIO will require the applet to be signed, and assumes client-side files. If the question is about loading files from the server, then see the LoadAGif example in http://faq.javaranch.com/java/CodeBarnApplets.
