hi guys i am reading a textbook and i just found a new "new" syntax that i have never seen before.

any explanation on code like this?

rce.new Runner

well i dont type all the code after this code but i think there is nothing to do further with RaceConditionExample class

of what i knew, runner johnson = new Runner("johnson");

but what does rce.new mean? how does it different from the normal new statement? does the new object created different from the normal new statement?

thanks

This is how you instantiate an inner class using an outer class.
