When using BMP and UserTransaction, I have a property called "setTransactionTimeout".

When using CMP instead of BMP, where can I set a value like "setTransactionTimeout"?

This will depend on which container you are using.

okay got it. I am using jboss as and the transaction timeout is defined within the server.xml.
