i am thinking that servlet interface and generic servlet interface .. using facade design pattern.is it right?

I suppose sort of, since they hide implementation details, but no more so than any other class that implements an interface.

When I think of a facade I think of something closer to the Wikipedia definition.

I could be wrong though, or the differences could be merely semantic or philosophical.
