Grails RichUI CheckedTreeView

Has anyone been able to get this to work? Or know of a good example? Thanks.

I would rather use Jquery combined with Grails controller, since most javascripts created by grails plugins are messy and obtrusive.
I installed taggable, commentable and searchable, commentable has yahoo yui plugin, which includes an ui ready to use, I just don't like the way how it generates the views and javascript code,so I created my own jquery methods and html and utilizing the plugins controller methods. it works like a charm. nice clean and easier to maintain.
