Hi all


i am trying to install android sdk and i am getting this error

Failed to fetch URL https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository/repository.xml, reason: dl-ssl.google.com

i installed the same thing on my friends system but i am unable to do so on mine. Please help

Is your internet connection working fine?? In the setup window there is an option on the "Settings" screen which says "Force https:// sources to be fetched using http://" check it and then press "Save & Apply", that should do the trick...

my net connection is working fine, and i have also tried doing forced http but result is the same.

Works fine for me. What happens if you try to access that URL through a browser?

its xml file , so you will get horrible result with browser..

i advice you to download ADT Plug in manually from http://developer.android.com/sdk/adt_download.html

when i try to add plugin to eclipse using ADT manual download i get

An error occurred during provisioning.

i have finally implemented it

i added eclipse plugins manually, and i copied sdk which i had downloaded on my friend's system.

I was also having the same error when I came across this thread.
Thanks to Bilal, I looked into the xml file & found out :
<sdk:url>android-3.0_r01-linux.zip</sdk:url>
Now manually downloading this after appending it in http://dl-ssl.google.com/android/repository url.
Hopefully, it should work fine within the platforms folder.
