I have recently received a telemarketing phone call from a lady who stated she works for Pulse Telecom, a new phone company on the market. She also said they have low rates to call Europe and a very good connection by VOIP (Internet). The conversation was in may native language, that's why I was amazed. She also gave me her phone number to call back if I would like to sign with Pulse Telecom. I wonder how this VOIP works, cuz I don't have any idea what does it mean. And by the way, do you have any reviews for this provider?
Thank you.

VOIP

I would never sign anything from any unknown person or organization who would phone me to sell me something. I find that very annoying.

VOIP is voice over internet, in effect a phone call transmitted over the net. Lots of people use Skype, others like messengers which have free webcam with visual and sound, business people have their companies pay their phone bills, I have no clue who'd actually want to pay for an internet phone call.

Like J.T. said there is no need to pay to take a phone for VOIP. You can get a good connection and use skype or gtalk or something to make the call.

If they are offering cheap rates to landline, then I am not sure. I thought VOIP to landline was illegal in India. Siding with Jesper, they called you and asked you. Its not that you got interested because of their good features or anything.

So I would suggest to think twice before putting your money into this.

Yes, Pulse Telecom is good. Low rates, good connection and customer service in at least 8 languages as you could listen the IVR. I suggest you to go with this company cuz I/m sure you gonna like it.
Bunokoo.

Are you sure this is not one of those first post plugs?
