The first step toward preparing for scbcd is to take a good refrence book and read sever side java(ejb,rmi,jndi) concepts.some of the refrence books are

1)Enterprise Java Beans(Orielly)
2)EJB 3 in Action
3)Mastering EJB(free download available at serverside.com)

Then you can read study notes by
