I have installed the Axis2 and tried to run the application using "maven-package". I am getting this error. How to create this settings.xml file

"
[ERROR] Error executing Maven.
[ERROR] The specified user settings file does not exist: C:\Documents and Settings\satish.INDIA\.m2\settings.xml

Hi!
The missing file is a Maven user settings file (as in the error message) and this file is not required, as far as I know.
Is the error fatal, i.e. preventing you from completing your task?
Best wishes!

Yes, I have tried this mentioned here. http://www.mifos.org/developers/wiki/MavenSettingsXml/. The problem is solved. It needed somemore jars which is provide through this settings.xml file

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
