Hi Varma,

First of all, Congratulations !!.

I had worked on Java webservices from Eclipse, RAD and pretty handy with it. I may be lagging some of the fundamentals, as I used tools to generate WS components.

How long (hours) do you think would require to pass the test with high marks,.

Also please guide me with the material (the one your referred below) for SCDJWS 5.0. Tips/suggestions any based on your experience.

Thanks and Regards,
Shinelin

Thanks Shinelin,

It took around 2 months for me .

Here are the materials

- Ivan's SCDJWS 5 Study Notes and read all the links in that material that helps a lot

- Do sample programs on I-Stack JAX-WS, JAXB, SAAJ and Stax.

Trikha ,

Exam duration is 150 min, It's sufficient for reviewing the answers, for me I reviewed my answers one time before I submit.

Hi All,

I have started preparing for the SCDJWS 5 exam. After reading in this forum, I am using Ivan's notes as my study guide. The guide is very good. Thanks Ivan. I do have a question about the SOAP version that is in scope for the exam. Is it SOAP 1.1 or SOAP 1.2?

Thanks.

Hi!
The topics of the certification says SOAP 1.2, but my experience is that there was nothing related to SOAP 1.2 in my exam.
Personally, I studied both SOAP 1.1 and SOAP 1.2 to be sure.
Good luck!
