Hello everyone, I have been trying to find a solution to my problem for over a week now, and have found no tutorials or examples that can help me out.

I have created a selectable html table which highlights when clicked an such.

I have a javascript function which processes my submit buttons(I have 3 which go to 3 different pages) but I need to retrieve the row Id and send it through the url.

I tried to do it in a scriptlet so it loops for all my rows and onclick="setSelection(sel)"> sel being my row ID. I have no way to send this sel variable to my javascript redirect function which just takes in a 'M' to go to modify screen, a 'D' to delete, and 'S' to show details. I cant call the setSelection function in my redirect function as I would need the sel attribute in the first place...

If anyone could help I would much appreciate it.

Please do not post the same question more than once. Your original post has been moved to the HTML forum as there is no JSP dimension to the question.
