[POI] Extract slide for presentation powerpoint, and write it in a new presentation

Hello,
I want to exract some determinate slide and write it in a new presentation.

I'm try this :

FileInputStream in = new FileInputStream("myfile.ppt");
SlideShow ppt = new SlideShow(in);
in.close();  
Slide[] slide = ppt.getSlides();  


SlideShow newslide =  slide[0].getSlideShow(); // I want to extract the first slide
FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream("new_file_has_just_first_slide.ppt");
slided.write(out);
out.close();

But, when i execute the programme, the file : new_file_has_just_first_slide.ppt have all slide included in myfile.ppt !


Can you help me please ?

That's correct, because getSlideShow returns the complete slide show, not any particular slide.

You'll have to make a copy of the original file, and then remove all slides except for the one that you want to keep.
