Completed SCEA 5 (all parts)

+Pie Number of slices to send: Send
Hi,

This is to inform my friends on the Ranch of my completing of SCEA 5 (all parts).

I found that there were tremendous improvement of responsiveness due to Sun and Oracle coming together.

I am confident that the future of Sun and Java is brilliant (at least as far as Java Certifications are concerned): one may notice the professional touch of OCP certification (I guess).

I have been greatly benefited by the forum and would request the participants to come up more and more with challenging issues/topics, which will allow Sun Education to be even better and more refined.

Thanks to the founders, patrons, and users (who keep it alive) of this great forum.

congrats! - Can you tell us how long it took for them to score your essay exam.

This is interesting; they took initially <4 weeks; then another 2 1/2 months.

However, my case was an exception: you may expect the usual timeframe between 4 and 6 weeks.

Hi,

Sorry for delay in answering...

In this forum you can search for various links for resources, which should be helpful.

I mentioned about the Sun's JavaEE book (free on the web), which is treated as gospel for part I.

For parts 2 and 3 UML distilled by Fowler should be handy. For tools, you might use StarUML but its component/deployment diagrams tend to slip away. Hence, you may want to try others.

Some evaluators are fussy about breaking class diagram hence beware.

What else?

There are quite a few SCEAs on the site: please help if I missed something important.

Congratulations P Das.

I had been sitting on my assignment for about 1 year. I submitted my assignment on the last day of the 1 year expiration period and gave part 3 the following day. Its been over 2 weeks since then and I am waiting eagerly for the results.

So you made a portal in time and started grabbing people. This tiny ad thinks that's rude:
