Hi to all,

I am new to this forum.. i was very eager to learn struts ...


i need to know that certification i sthere for struts like scjp .. can any please tell me if there so.. and what book should i refer..

No Struts certification is there. Better you look for SCWCD.

And please Use suitable subject line.

Hi Sagar,

Thanks for your reply.. i am preparing scwcd ,but mean while i planned to learn struts too.. ,since i am new to struts can you hepl me out of what book should i refer and give me some more sites for referring struts.



Instead of studying struts 1.2 is that going to struts 2 is advisable..

Manning Struts 2 in Action.

And online is the best resource to learn anything In my opinion.

Unless you have a real reason to learn Struts 1 (or just enjoy learning historical frameworks) there's no reason to learn it: it's outdated and old-fashioned. I'd stick to learning things like Struts 2, Spring MVC, etc. unless you'd specifically trying to get a Struts 1 job.
