You'll add the ability to do metaprogramming in Ruby.

...and hopefully, you'll learn a lot of things about how Ruby works - things that are important, but not immediately obvious. A lot of people tell us that we didn't pick a good title, because "metaprogramming" sounds intimidating, but it's actually just a set of techniques that good Ruby coders use every day. Maybe we should have titled the book something like "What every Ruby programmer should know".
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
