We are going to develop a web based ERP application. The architecture we are planning to use is Spring-Hibernate and JSF.
Our main constraints are,

easiness of development
easy to maintain
performance

I would like to know the architecture we selected was good? Is there any better solutions...? Is it a better choice using Struts instead of JSF? Please let me know your comments

Thanks

(a) 42
(b) it depends
(c) who knows

With the given information nobody can decide if you do right or wrong. Somebody who has know how in Spring, Hibernate and JSF would prefer that solution, someone who does know Struts would take another way.

Hi,

If you decided to go for open source like you have chosen Spring,Hibernate then Struts also to be considered to achieve best solution from open-source family(Spring-Hibernate-Struts).

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
