Tell me the way in STRUTS1.1 for sorting data in a html table based on the combination of columns.

I had used display.jar2.0 to display the data in front end. Our requirement is that the data to be displayed in table needs to be sorted based on the combination of multiple columns. Such as Name desc, age desc, gender desc.

In SQL it can be done by using ORDER BY NAME DESC, AGE DESC, GENDER DESC
We don't want to do this sorting in SQL, as query becomes very complicated and performance goes for a toss.

Ssuggest me the sorting algorithm or any other techniques by which i can achieve this in Display-jar it self. I am are ready to customize the display-jar.
