No import javax.microedition.io.Connector; in Android?

Hi

I am converting an old assignment from a midlet to android but the midlet uses this

         HttpConnection connection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(url); 

but eclipse is not letting me import the package. Can this not be used in Android? If so what do I use instead?

import package as

  import java.net.HttpURLConnection;  

and use

  
URL connectURL = new URL("Your URL"); 
HttpURLConnection conn = (HttpURLConnection) connectURL.openConnection();
