Reports coming in weigh strongly, and I do mean strongly, in the direction that most people are finding it even better than they were hoping for. And for an Apple product, which is usually over-hyped to begin with, that's saying something.
I'm sure I'll be getting one sooner or later, but I want to know more about it before taking the plunge.
I've been discussing the iPad with a friend recently and i was totally against it because of ergonomics. I'd really hate to work with it. But he got me with "just imagime it at home as a remote control on the couch table".
Tell us more abobut the experience with it, Mark!
Well if you ask me, I think with the iPad its the end of the iPx series. The iPad is actually the second tablet from Apple and I think this is what they had been shooting for all along especially after Jobs came along.
The term PDA was coined by Apple, which shows they were trying to create a market for themselves in this area long before anyone else but couldn't find success. They knew it had potential but probably couldn't find a way to get it in the hands of mainstream tech users owing to very poor penetration of Apple products in general. iPods and iPhones opened up a whole new market of people would would make this deice a stellar success this time around. I feel so baited.
I imagine Steve Jobs is talking to me:
There Will Be iPad
