Hi folks,

part of my specification says;

"Your user interface should be designed with the expectation of future functionality enhancements, and it should establish a framework that will support this with minimal disruption to the users when this occurs."

I'm a little nervous about what this "framework" is supposed to be. My big worry is that the GUI framework is somehow expected to be designed to support some other data type (other than Contractors - the B&S business object). In my choices.txt I've ruled this out - saying the GUI could support a more fields in the schema, create and delete operations, all with a little work on the developer's part.

Have I got the right idea? What did you all interpret was meant by "GUI framework"?

Other than that, its getting near submission time...

Regards,

John

Hi John,

No big expectations from the GUI framework: just adding extra search criteria, new actions, remove/add some old/new fields with little work for a developer. It should certainly not be that smart/generic that it can deal with any kind of new data type (like a Customer).

Kind regards,
Roel
