Base16Format to pdf in jsp?

i have an base16formated string .which i wanted to print it as a pdf in jsp.is it possible ??

JSP are not designed to produce binary output.
If you want to produce non-text output (e.g.: PDF), you can use servlets.

Are you asking how to create a PDF? If so, check out the iText library.

I don't understand what "base16formated string" has to do with it, nor, actually, what you mean by that, so I can't speak to that.

So the text you want to put in the PDF is base-64 encoded? You can decode that using any of the publicly available decoder classes, like the one in the Apache Commons Codec library.

There are many tutorials out there on the web on how to create a PDF using iText, including one right here in the JavaRanch FAQ.
