as i am a beginner to UML, Which is the best book to start learning UML?
OR
which books should i read in sequence to enchance my UML knowledge level starting from beginner to expert ?

I liked UML Distilled by Martin Fowler.

Reading a book is a good start but if you are in a company then do not hesitate to ask them to pay for 2-3 days training.
It would save time and you will immediately be able to model.

here is the order/sequence of books

first read UML Distilled book (by Martin )
Then
read Applying UML and Patterns book (by Criag Larman)

after that read
UML2 in action book
