When will SUN send my voucher

Hi guys ,

I had purchased the voucher through SAI on MAR26 .They sent a mail the next day stating that it will take them "some" weeks before they can send the voucher. I have still not got it and was planning to take it by the end of april . Any of guys have a clue as to when they could send the voucher .

I made SAI SCWCD purchase on 19 March, i got the same response about it taking even few weeks to get my order processed. I haven't seen my voucher yet, so I think its just how it is.... ;)

Well, why don't you guys write to SUN and ask about the status. I think so it takes
almost 3 weeks. My friend told me so, so i am not sure. Better to inquire with SUN
people itself.

SUN asked me in their EMAIL not to send them any emails asking for the status cause such emails from all waiting people would make order processing time even longer.

I think you are new to SAI, it is a program started by SUN in which student can purchase voucher at discount price but after 27 Jan 2010 its is closed by oracle and only existing member can take benift up to 31 Dec 2010 after that i dont know.

Hi , i checked whether my university is registered with SAI and when i mailed them they said that was all that was required . Do i need to separately register my E-mail ID with them ..? Since i have already purchased it would they cancel it ..? I have already asked them these questions but do not seem to be getting any response from them.

I have not got my voucher
All i have is the proof of purchase (No voucher number or any identification number )
Should i mail them again ..?

you have to wait and watch if they think that you are eligible for it they send you. they have very slow processing time i also got voucher late.

Have you got your voucher yet? I have been waiting since 19 March so it's been already over a month and I haven't got it.... It's starting to take far too long, I think i'm gonna e-mail them today.

I got response from SUN that they know that it is taking very long but they do really have so huge amount of orders. However they wrote that I should get my voucher within couple of days, so should you, even sooner. Let me know in this topic when you get your voucher

You could call Oracle(who own Sun) on their USA training number and explain the issue. The Oracle front line staff took personal responsibility for escalating some issues I raised regarding certifification.

BTW did you scan your student ID and send it to them by email as a proof?

I hope everyone waiting on the SAI voucher will receive it by March 14th. Would they be emailing the vouchers or would it be by postal mail?

yes you have to give them you student ID card or fee receipt as a proof.They send you long email like this

Good news. I received my SAI vouchers today (May 13th 2010) (within May 14th as suggested by Vinit previously).
