I am writing a .doc file and then bringing it up in MS Word. The following code works on a MAC but not in Windows. Any suggestions.

Thanks

You'd use the rundll32 utility for that; see http://www.rgagnon.com/javadetails/java-0014.html

Hi,

I open documents this way in Windows environment. The windows shell automatically launches associated app based on the extension.
