my servlet is trying to recieve a multipart/form-data request from an applet which containing a file [image] and store it in the DB the dopost method is:




the error is appear in the line :


the error is :



iam using commons-fileupload-1.2.1 and the error is not fired in all time it fired just for some times

Are you seeing this when you are using the applet uploader or are you just seeing it in your logs?

I'm thinking that the user left the page or killed the browser while the applet was in the middle of uploading something.
 
It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
