Hi,

I am planning to SCEA certification.

I have good knowledge of J2EE/JEE technologies Core Java, JSP, EJB2, EJB3,JMS,Struts,Spring,Hibernate,JAXWS and Oracle Database PL/SQL. I also have more than 8 years expereience on these technologies. But I do not have done single certification. I am planning to do SCEA skipping all other certification.

Hi,

Good to know you are planning for SCEA certification.

You do not need any certification to attempt SCEA part 1.

I will say, start from looking at Objectives, read them carefully and make a list what you know and what you do not know.

And spend some time in this forum in looking in old threads, where people who have already cleared the certification have provided reference of books/articles which they refered.

All the best.

Sagar

Most of the topics posted in this forum are related to certification. Please take the time to compose descriptive topic titles; otherwise, the forum will be full of posts all titles 'Certification question'.

Thanks! [I've adjusted the title to be more descriptive for you.]
