Hi,

I have completed SCJP and SCWCD.
I am not able to decide which one to choose SCBCD or Spring Framework certification.

I heard (now a days) EJB3.0 is used by very few companies and most of the companies are shifting to Springs+Hibernate to overcome EJB....no idea how far it's true. This is where I want your suggestions, I know I am asking this question where most of you guys might say SCBCD is best, but please be fair.

Thanks in advance.
Ravi

What I don't like about the Spring certification is that you need to pass a 4-days course, or you have to be recognized as having Core Spring Proficiency. This course is not even available in my country... So considering the troubles necessary to pass this certification, I don't think it's worth it (strongly personal opinion).

Hello,
I think after EJB 3.0 , learning JPA is as good as knowing Hibernate as they are closely related together.
I am now trying to learn JPA so that I can work with EJB as well as Hibernate. Of course employer should also buy this argument.

Regards,
Amit

Spring certification could be better but the 4 day course is expensive and not available in most countries.
But looking at usage and popularity , definitely one should look at Spring not EJB.
