I want to have my SCJP exam at monday.
Can I get a part of points per question, if there are i.e. 4 possible right answers and I got only 3 right?
Or will I get 0 points if there is any mistake i.e. in drag & drop question.

Can I review my wrong answers after the exam?

Dear Michael,

Welcome to JavaRanch.

There is no part points concept. If you have clicked 3 choices and there were 4 choices to make the
answer correct, then you answer is wrong.

Hope this helps,

Yes, thanks, so I will skip the drag & drop first, because they need more time and the chance to fail is much greater by ten possibilities.

1. There are no marks for partially correct answers.
2. Remember that if you review a drag and drop question, the answer gets reset, so you'll have to solve it again. So be absolutely sure about a drag and drop question before you move to the next question. Because if you come back to the drag and drop question and want to check it again, you'll have to do it again...

Yes, Prithvi is right.
Those drag & drop questions are particularly precarious because all your drags and drops for a question must be correct to get credit for your answer. There is no partial credit given. Even worse, once you answered the drag & drop question, if you go back to review your response the exam will clear all the drags and drops for that question. (Of course, the exam will display a warning message indicating that it will do that if you proceed to review.)

edit: Oops, Ankit beat me by 30 seconds with the cautionary note about drag & drops.

Thanks for the hint, but what's about my second question:
Can I review my wrong answers after the exam?
So, if I will fail I can have a look why?

You get a printout saying how you did on each exam objective, but they won't give you the questions you missed.

After you completed and submitted your exam, the test center will provide you a printout of how well you did in each section of the exam but they will not indicate the exact questions that were answered incorrectly. But let's not even worry about failing the exam. Have you tried the mock exam simulators like ExamLab and Enthuware? They are excellent predictors of how you will fare in the SCJP exam. Also, those mock exams do provide feedback and coaching on the questions.

If you worked all the practice exams in ExamLab, your SCJP exam results may be between 20 to 40 points higher than your highest ExamLab score. (Your mileage may vary, depending on how well rested you are before the exam.) Therefore, by now you should know whether or not you will fail the exam.

Yes, you are right.
My best ExamLab was 51% and the real exam was 86% (with only 60 questions).
I had 40 minutes left, because it was so easy. But this was the failure, I made two mistakes in easy things by loosing my attention.
Whatever, I passed, thats enough.
SCWCD, I'm coming...

Congratulations Michael, on a job well done. I knew you would pass.

Within two days you should receive 2 e-mails from Sun. One e-mail will give you your Sun Certification ID and have information on how to register for the Certification Database. If you do not get that e-mail, send a message to suncert_ww@oracle.com to ask about it. In the Certification Database, you may request Sun to send your SCJP credentials to anyone via e-mail. Also, you may download the official Sun SCJP logo.

Two to three weeks (or longer if you are not in the U.S.) after you register into the Certificate Database, you will receive in the postal mail a welcome kit containing your SCJP certificate and a small plastic wallet-size ID card that indicates your SCJP status. Your score is not printed on them. If you do not get that package then send a message to suncert_ww@oracle.com to ask about it.

I am going down to the lab. Do NOT let anyone in. Not even this tiny ad:
