Hello techies,

I am new to Android. I have been wanting to learn and develop applications on Android, but am bored of reading such long pages , tutorial on android developer's site (though i have not read all the topics). I know that some basic idea about activity , indents, etc is needed but I really get bore just reading the theory.

Can anyone please suggest some interesting way of giving me a jumpstart to coding ? Can I directly start with some sample code and then refer topics as and when needed? First I want to understand usgae of Activities, indents, design of classes, etc.

Any help is highly appreciated

Thanks,
Kacee

The SDK comes bundled with API demos package that demonstrate the use of different libraries available to the developers via simple programs. That, IMO would be a good place to start.
