Hi Folks,

I want to buy a new laptop windows 7 a core i7 quade core for ROR development, but I'm wondering if the 64bits is not incompatible with ROR ?? Will I have trouble with that ?

Hi
I once tried it. Ruby 32 bit installer does work on 64bit Windows 7. (it was core i5 processor if you wonder).
Thanks

If you are buying a laptop specifically for RoR development, I highly recommend getting a Mac. 90+% of Ruby developers I know are on Mac because it's easier.

Found info about using Jedit on windows
Most people will say you don't need IDE.
But, editing multiple files(routes.db,controller, etc) requires something good.
Besides, it helps with syntax errors.
