Hi,

I have a quick question on the servlet behaviour. If the browser is opened to access some information of a website, the servlet is called to retrieve something from the database. It could take long time to retrieve data from the database. If I close the browser at that moment, will the servlet be killed and stop retrieving data from the database?

Please advise

Thanks

Depends. Usually, the dropped connection will be detected when the response buffer is being flushed.
