Good answer....

I'm using XDoclet in severall projects, too..

But since you don't need the deployment descriptors in EJB3 (where XDoclet was really a great help) and XDoclet doesn't support new Java 1.5 features like generics (e.g. you can't have typed Lists like List<String> in your generation source classes) I'm not sure if I would use XDoclet if I had to start from scratch..

Maybe I missed something, but I think e.g. the missing support of typed Lists is a big drawback.

Don't get me wrong, now that I have my Xdoclet templates and some additional tag handler classes it would really be hard for me to stop using XDoclet, I just don't know if there is not anything better and a little more up to date (the development of XDoclet stopped in 2005 as far as I know)...
