Hi
Hi

In our Application we are doing some important operations like updateCache and some select operations but on to the ejb-jar.xml file we have

<container-transaction>
<method>
<ejb-name>CustomerBean</ejb-name>
<method-name>*</method-name>
</method>
<trans-attribute>NotSupported</trans-attribute>
</container-transaction>

My question is will it make sense to use NotSupported for such important operations ??

Please share your views on this .

If your business logic doesn't require transactions, then yes. What is it about the importance of the operation that suggests to you a transaction may be required?
